"What Once Was" is the third full-length album from Tetrezene and their most realized work to date. This new installment captures the evolution of the band from their previous work: the dj mixes of "Lake #5" released in 2001 and the pop albums of "NDoorFin" released in 1999. Both of the bands previous works have spent weeks on the Canadian college radio charts National Top 50 peaking in the top 10.

The latest release contains five new songs of cinematic glory. Rich in mood and texture, they serve as music for movies in your mind. The original recording was concieved as the soundtrack for the film: "White Candle Red Water" but has grown to include new songs which complete a record that tells
it's own story.

Tetrezene is Shannon du Hasky (guitar, vocals), Camille Gratton (bass guitar, vocals), Benjamin Boles (lapsteal guitar), Ryder Graham (keyboards and programming). additional musicians: Brian Cram (trumpet on track2), Jay Clarke (double bass on track 2), Megan Laight (drums on track 1,2,&4)

Tracks 1,2,&4 were recorded at the Sound Foundation with Kevan Perry. Tracks 3&5 were recorded at the gluefactory. Produced, Mixed and Mastered by Ryder Graham at the gluefactory.
